Around the country, school bus workers are joining together and working to make real improvements in their jobs and their lives. We are standing up for good jobs and safe, reliable, school bus services in our communities. We have a voice at our workplace, we are bargaining as equals with our employers, and we are working to ensure that we are all treated fairly and with respect. Together, school bus workers and the Teamsters Drive Up Standards nationwide.

Some of the improvements we've gained through our Teamster contract are: higher wages; guaranteed raises; paid holidays; paid weather days; seniority rights; a grievance process; progressive discipline; improved working conditions; fair procedures.

The Teamsters represent over 75,000 school bus and transit workers in the Passenger Transportation Division and, since 2006, Teamsters have organized over 35,000 school bus workers. Local 445 represents nearly 800 school bus and transit workers.
